Graphic design is not in my near future! I attempted to post a logo for Flowing & Ebbing and failed. Once I finally figured out how to place the image onto the blog I realized how poorly colored and pitiful it looked. The edges were sharp, the image itself was too large, and it was off center. I had a more beautiful image pictured in my mind as I was creating it. I could be upset at the time I wasted, but I'm just going to use this as an opportunity to remind myself to write more. I'll paint pictures with words and hire someone to do the artwork on my blog. Who wants to work for free?
The humorous part of this whole ordeal is I began with a graphic that was designed for me! I would have placed it directly on here if it had not been for the fact that I couldn't figure out text color in relation to the background of the blog or how to handle white space behind the text. I won't even get into issues about the size of the logo. This may be a laughing matter for those who are more skilled than I am. To me it is a lesson learned. Run away and go write!
